Repeat Prescriptions

thepill

On Thursday 25th July 2019, Riverside Surgery will be upgrading to a new clinical system. The new system is provided by the largest supplier of GP computer software in the country and this change should greatly improve our practice efficiency.

To facilitate this change in system, our current online services at http://www.patient-services.co.uk will be suspended on 16th July 2019.

A new online system called Patient Access will be available for you to use and we will provide information on how to do this via email once the upgrade is complete. You will be able to access the new online service from Monday 5th August 2019.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and do ask that you be patient with us at this time, as we move to a faster, better and more efficient computerised clinical system.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS – During the downtime REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS WILL NOT BE SENT ELECTRONICALLY TO YOUR NOMINATED CHEMISTS, Please arrange to collect All Repeat Prescriptions from the Erith Health Centre Branch unless you specify otherwise.

When requesting a repeat prescription, you need to allow 48 hours or 2 Working Days excluding Weekends and Bank Holidays for us to process your script. All processed prescription will be ready for collection after 16:00hrs on the collection day. For more information refer to the prescription collection schedule below.

It is Your Responsibility to ensure that you have ordered your medication in time and Do Not wait until you have run-out.

From time to time we may need to review your medication. We will contact you to arrange this.

In the interest of Safety and Accuracy Requests for Repeat Prescriptions cannot be taken over the phone.

Please do not book an appointment with a Clinician to request a Repeat Prescription, this will be wasting an appointment that could otherwise be offered to someone who really needs an appointment.
